Indie Pop — London, UK
available for bookingsilly eggs makin serious songs!
Sunny Side Down started as a university battle-of-the-bands entry that didn't make it through the heats. A few London gigs and a TikTok era later, Maya Nutter (vocals, violin, clarinet), Jasper Chance-Larsen, George Egerton and Charlie Gray self-released their debut album, I Want to Love You — ten tracks of heavy machinery-esque guitar solos and Shostakovich-inspired intensity, trading in bones, mould and skin to get at something true about love, gender and the body.
Based in London, UK.
“A sound as visceral as it is vulnerable.”
